For the "Find a Way in the Library" project, I worked on redefining navigation at Monash University’s Caulfield Library through a user-centered wayfinding strategy. I started by stepping into the shoes of different library users, developing a hierarchy of needs to pinpoint key challenges. Through an in-depth analysis of the space, I identified major pain points and explored solutions that would make navigation more intuitive.
The outcome was a mobile application paired with digitally integrated signage. By scanning QR codes placed throughout the library, users can access real-time navigation touchpoints that seamlessly connect the physical space with the app. This solution enhances wayfinding, accessibility, and user experience, making it easier for students and visitors to navigate the library with confidence.
